Grief Nook

We see the importance of ritual.

To observe and practice our grief.  To honor what is inward by expressing it outward.

After the funeral, the celebration of life, the memorial, the burial—the opportunity for ritual dwindles.

And so, we are teaming up to create ritual—a Grief Nook—for 15 minutes at a time.

Each Nook will have its own style and feeling, crafted by its own host.

Each Nook will be a space where we sit with our grief in a community of grievers.

Join me on Wednesdays from 1—1:15 p.m. Eastern Time.

During each Grief Nook, we will:

  • Take a few minutes to pause as we enter the space, going from getting there to being there.

  • Listen to a reading about our interconnection, about our grief.

  • After the reading, we will be invited to write what we’re grieving in the chat – the name, the relationship, or both.

  • We’ll silently read these entries, holding space for and with each other.

If you would like to lead your own Grief Nook, we welcome you to join on the calendar! Visit my colleague, SB Rawz, at her site to get on the calendar: https://rawzcoaching.com/
